Today I am thrilled to announce the newest member of our executive team: please join me in welcoming Rama Katkar, our new Chief Financial Officer.
Rama joins us from Instacart, where she built the company’s first Strategic Finance / FP&A team, and led them towards public company readiness. Prior to that, Rama was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategic Finance at Credit Karma — where the teams she built and scaled helped lead to a billion dollar revenue generating business and the $8.1Bn sale of Credit Karma to Intuit.
“Our world has changed drastically over the last three years, and the way we work, interact and choose to spend our time has shifted,” said Rama Katkar. “It is so exciting to be joining such a fast growing, beloved industry leader, that is making us all more efficient and team collaboration seamless.”
Rama brings more than 20 years of financial and operational leadership expertise to Notion during an important moment in our company’s life. Her immediate focus will be to lead our FP&A, Accounting, Corporate Development and Business Operations teams — all while bringing her exceptional financial discipline, operational rigor and reporting cadence to the organization. Rama’s thoughtful approach to scale and her full embodiment of our values — leading with “We are truth seekers” — are just some of the reasons I am pleased to bring her on board for this next chapter of Notion.
Welcome again, Rama!
